Tried a few styles in his hay-days, later he incorporated cubism into his art style giving it a Nepali look. He did that by painting cultural themes of Nepal, especially the Newar culture and figures. This is how his works used to stand out from rest of his contemporaries. A man of solitude, he was always occupied in his own imagination thinking about art. There is no artist in Nepal who consistently made use of cubism in their works and also gave a Nepali outlook. Therefore, his works and style will always be remembered.
